Cheryl Smith, MA, President
Cheryl A. Smith, President of Kansas City Home Care, Inc. is a Gerontologist who is a long-standing member of the National Association of Professional Care Managers (GCM) and a founding member and past President of the Midwest Chapter of the National Association of Professional Care Managers. She is a past board director of the National Private Duty Association (NPDA). Ms. Smith was selected to participate in the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program and is a member of the Accomplished Women’s Roundtable sponsored by the Kansas Women’s Business Center. She was recognized by the Kansas City Business Journal as one of the twenty-five area Women Who Mean Business in 2006. Ms. Smith is a past board member for SAFEHOME, a nonprofit organization that offers support for victims of domestic violence and currently serves on the board of directors for the Women’s Employment Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing women with the skills and confidence to help them achieve economic independence for themselves and their families. She is a recipient of the 2008 Enterprising Women award and was recognized by KC Business Magazine as one of the 50 Most Influential Women for 2008.
